There are no problems with Responsive version. However I will suggest you to buy tomorrow as I will be rolling the latest updates tomorrow for MyBB 1.8.13

I really liked how easy is to adapt the theme to my needs.
You will have to save your modifications and once install the responsive theme, I will suggest you to create child theme.
Creating a child theme is always best theme so that you will not be affecting the original theme and can easily export your changes outside.
