Edit Navigation Links

Hi, I'm a brand new user. Where do I edit the links? I need to add a link and subtract 2 links from the top navigation bar. Thanks.

Thanks, but the announcement isn't what I need to change. I need to change the navigation links and text that go across the top. Mine say 

• Home
  
• Memberlist
  
• Search
  
• Advertise
  
• Drop Down
  

I want to make my own links there, but I don't know where I make the changes that I need to make.

I can see where that navigation section is in the .xml file. I can alter the .xml file. However, I don't know where to upload it to make the new version work.

You should never touch xml file.
Anyways, the tutorial link was too tell you where you will find those links.
